When the backpackers staying at Cairns Central Sharehouse, Cairns cheap backpacker sharehouse accommodation heard this, they immediately acted on Charley Boorman’s alleged claims of Humungous Hamburgers near Cairns and suffering a bad case of an “attack of the munchies” they quickly set about tracking down what was fast becoming a much talked about Cairns Humungous Hamburger joint.

Backpackers in Cairns the Stinger Season is here again and the Sharehouse backpacking team in Cairns have advice on how to not meet up with them!!
Backpackers love a joke, but make no mistake it is now box jellyfish season in Cairns and we need you to read this carefully as there will be a test at the end.
Box jellyfish have been responsible for more than 60 deaths in Australia and they are present in northern waters from October until May. There have been reports of box jellyfish as far south as Agnes Water, which is just north of Bundaberg.
Prevention is better than cure, so:
- observe warning signs;
- do not enter the water when beaches are closed due to marine stingers;
- at beaches where there are swimming enclosures, swim only within these nets;
- wear a stinger suit to minimise the risk of being stung while in the water.
The Reef - Cairns Sharehouse
Cairns Central Sharehouse, is a 2 minute stroll to the Cairns Cinemas which is due to release Australia’s latest scary movie “The Reef”.
The film, tells the story of four friends who are forced to swim to a nearby island after their yacht capsizes on the Great Barrier Reef and the group is then stalked by a killer great white shark.

Cairns Sharehouse for backpackers is a 5 minute stroll from the Cairns backpacker clubs, backpacker bars and cheap backpacker restaurants of Cairns, so when a study done by UNSW on backpackers drinking their way around Australia was released, the backpackers staying at Cairns Sharehouse decided to check out the drinking habits of backpackers currently staying in Cairns and conducted their own cheap drinks study in Cairns!!
